Asmek originated from my time doing graffiti; it was my tagging name. When I began to contemplate my digital identity, I asked myself, "Why Asmek?" and it just stuck with me. I envision the name as a response to the question, "Why are you doing this or that?" The short answer is that creative ventures drive me to push myself and exceed my own expectations.

I Am.
Early
Born and raised in Los Angeles. Grew up around graffiti, street art, and the kind of visual energy the city just radiates. Before there was a camera or a DAW, there were walls and spray cans. That's where the creative instinct started.
College
Studied Visual Media Arts and Marketing at Emerson College. Street art grew into something more deliberate — learning how to shape identity, communicate visually, and build things that actually mean something. That foundation quietly runs through everything I make now.
Now
Creating entirely on my own terms. Street photography, single-player games, and hip-hop production drive the day to day. This site is the living document — no performance, no polish for the sake of it. Just what I'm actually into.
