BEAT RUSH

A beat against the clock, right before work — and back in the streaming chair.

The Idea.

The goal of the Beat Rush Series is to produce a quick beat in about 20–30 minutes right before heading off to work. The excitement of creating something within a short time frame and discovering its potential is what drives me. With this series, I aim to make a beat, experiment, and see what emerges from each session — while capturing the entire process.

Beat the Clock

20–30 minutes, start to finish, before the workday. The constraint is the point — no overthinking, just moving.

Experiment

Make something, try things, and see what emerges from the session. Some ideas land, some don't — all of it gets captured.

Capture It

Some of my best beats came together in 10–15 minutes — and I wish I'd recorded those. This time, the whole process is on stream.

Back in the Chair.

I haven't been streaming games lately because I haven't found the right one — I usually enjoy single-player games from the comfort of my couch with the Steam Deck. This series is a way to get me back in the streaming chair. I realized that some of my best beats were created in just 10–15 minutes, and I wish I had captured those processes.

"I'm still learning the language of music — but every now and then, something truly inspires me."

I don't consider myself a music expert. I'm still learning. The Beat Rush is less about perfection and more about showing up, moving fast, and catching the spark when it happens.

When to Tune In.

Three mornings a week, before the day starts. Pull up, drop a comment, and watch a beat come together in real time.
